The 11/6 Vote: Calling all Earthlings
SAVE HER! (Save WHO?)
We’ve all gotten so good at organizing to save lives, including and especially the yearly rush to save thousands and thousands of animal victims of global warming-related natural disasters. WHAT IF all our life saving work was meant to prep us for other, larger challenges in our immediate future?
The World Wildlife Fund tells us that we are the last generation who can save Nature as we know it and her wild animals. So depressing, but thanks to our collective history with ‘doing hard things,’ animal lovers already know how to suck it up and do what needs to be done to turn negative outcomes into saves. We’re at our best in crisis. So, let’s do this.
The November 6, 2018 midterms are hands down, the most critical elections we will know in our lifetime. Voting is imperative if we’re going to have a chance to ‘rescue’ the planet and her creatures.
If you’re confused about issues or candidates, the one thing you can go on is whether a candidate or ballot measure supports the life of the planet through a commitment to renewable energy and ending global warming.
