Insta Family: Big Hearts Needed

The world’s full of dogs-in-crisis but happily, there are also people looking to expand their family with sure-bet pets. In that spirit, we’re highlighting a very special sibling pair.

Cato & Nikki’s owner died recently and after a life of spoiling, they’re both grieving. So is Jane, the mother of the deceased. She took them on to avoid the shelter BUT is disabled and unable to walk them or fold them into her life.

URGENT-ish: The almost-8yo pair have been living in a small garage since their owner’s passing and are moving to a small pen in Jane’s backyard, which is going to be hard on everybody, especially in poor weather.

Personality Info: We know them from class and they’re your classic Big Softy Babies, very devoted to each other, sensitive, very friendly with any and all people. They pine for each other when apart, and when they’re together, they go into silly mode. It’s pretty darn cute. See them in action: Class Video

They’re larger dogs but not high energy. They just want a sofa. Nikki (female, right) is especially easy on-leash. Cato (male, left) pulls, but is falling in line with the training classes. He flops on his back when he loses motivation (photo below). Spayed/Neutered, House trained, Vaccinated. No cats.
