Cool Beans
One of our newest Rescue Barn dogs – Cool Beans – came to us from a Good Samaritan who found her begging for help at her front door. Unfortunately their local animal shelter was over capacity so turned them away. The Good Sam lives in a no-pets apartment, but was told to cut her loose back onto the streets. Tragically, not an uncommon directive during today’s overcrowded shelter crisis.
We took the pup in out of a sense of duty and held her for 30 days in case she had a committed owner out there. Now ours to rehome, Beans’ new name says it all. Cool Beans. Full-o-Beans. This 5mos old pup is so very smart, connected and fun. House trained, basic obedience trained and fine to chillax in her kennel during down time.
She’s got so much of what we love about American Pit Bull Terriers … Confidence, a zest for life, an eagerness to impress her handlers with calm focus and great eye contact, ie “Tell me what to do and I’ll do it!.” Smaller sized with perfect proportions and the best dorito ears.
Beans is currently being schooled by a group of dogs at the Rescue Barn. Non-stop fun. Check out our Insta to see her in action. Let us know if you’d like to meet her!
