Marcie came from an overwhelmed family who didn’t realize that breeding two so-called ‘exotic’ (ie, fad breed) dogs could result in puppies with birth defects. Nature just doesn’t like people to mess so much with K9 genetics. They spayed their mother (thank you, family!) and gave her up, along with two litter mates. She and her sister Bella both had cherry eye and Marcie came to the Planet with a cleft lip.

Marcie is a champion butt wiggler. She made loads of friends and never let us forget how happy she was to be part of a good dog party. Once her eyes started to heal from surgery, she attracted a family with a dog named Ollie. Good work, Marcie!
