ADOPTED!

Belisa the Shepherd mix found her way to our adoption program. She’s so sweet, we couldn’t resist bringing her back from the shelter. This youngster is 1yo or so, incredibly affectionate and just gorgeous with a sable coat and warm smiling eyes.

We’d call her energetic, cheerful and eager to please – a true marshmallow who is hungry for human companionship and direction. She’s also sensitive and may have been heavy-handed in her former home, but her moments of wincing are almost gone. She’s been in a play group with the Barn Dogs here and fits right in. Her play style with the younger males here dogs can be ‘bossy,’ but is not over the top.

It’s been a pleasure to see this pup blossom and sparkle as she learns our daily routine and settles in. What a delightful dog she is.
