Med Care for Bonsai

Bonsai is deaf and came from a neglectful and abusive home. His (new) owner John took matters into his own hands and removed him from the setting. He told us he wasn’t going to stand by and see this dog suffer any longer.

A large tumor on Bonsai’s testicles needed an extensive surgery to remove. John couldn’t afford the costs, but found his way to our Keep’Em Home program, so the deed is now done and he and Bonsai have a brighter future together.

If you see this pretty boy cruising around in a pick up truck with his ‘dad’ somewhere in East Contra Costa County, please wave them a hello. Two good souls, right there.
