Help for Accidental Breeders

Our Rescue Barn routinely receives puppies from homes who get in over their heads with unplanned litters. In order for us to accept their pups and match them to quality homes, families must spay/neuter the parents dogs (free!) through our Keep’Em Home program. 

Spay/neuter is becoming more widely accepted in our community, and 2019 was a particularly busy year with numerous families accepting this kind of help. The pup in this photo – ‘Mortie’ – is one of the many who benefit from this special outreach work.
