Come take a tour
It's done! Tammy Mezera and her pup Nel survived the Camp Fire (their story) and have been patiently waiting for the completion one of the Bus Homes our crew has been converting into living spaces for displaced dog owners.
What Now? Tammy's been very proactive with her recovery from last November's traumas. Now that her Bus Home is done, her next step is finding a short term location to park and live while she builds back the nest egg she lost after the fire took her home. She has excellent professional skills and has already found quick work with temp agencies in the SF Bay Area.

2. Landlords and Property Owners: If you might have a spot in your yard or drive for a 24' Bus Home that you'd be willing rent for the short term, please let us know so we can send word along. Tammy & Nel stayed in BR's guest cabin during the last leg of the Bus project and are very conscientious and enjoyable guests. You would feel lucky to know them! Contact BADRAP

The Bus Home is solarized with panels on the roof, so Tammy can run a fridge, lights, a water pump and small appliances without hooking up to local utilities.
Her dog Nel has been with her since before the fire and is the reason we connected for this emergency housing need. She would like to find more permanent housing once she's saved up enough to secure an apartment, but for now, this is home.
